The Betty Baxter website www.bettybaxter.com.au is owned and operated by Betty Baxter Pty Ltd (ABN 96 725 359 452) and use of this website is subject to their Terms of Use.

By providing Betty Baxter with your registration details and purchasing our products online, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use.

The Betty Baxter Weight Loss Program has been developed in conjunction with health professionals including nutritionists, dieticians, naturopaths and food technologists. The program has been designed for a recommended rate of weight loss (between 0.5 and 1.0 kg per week) for an average healthy adult and is delivered in pharmacy with the support of trained Betty Baxter consultants.

If you choose to purchase Betty Baxter products online, you will not have access to trained Betty Baxter pharmacy based consultants or Betty Baxter staff.

You therefore agree to take full responsibility for your own health and weight loss when purchasing Betty Baxter products online, and managing your individual program.

HEALTH DISCLAIMER:

If you are taking regular medications or have any concerns about your suitability to participate in a weight loss program, then you should consult your doctor or health care professional before joining the Betty Baxter Weight Loss Program online.

For your own health and safety, you must not access Betty Baxter products or commence the Betty Baxter Weight Loss Program online if you:

• are under 18 years of age

• have insulin dependant diabetes

• have a BMI of under 18 and are therefore considered to be underweight

(You can check your BMI at http://www.healthyactive.gov.au/internet/healthyactive/publishing.nsf/Content/your-bmi)

• have a diagnosed eating disorder or a history of a diagnosed eating disorder

• are pregnant or breast-feeding

You must discuss the Betty Baxter program with your Doctor and get approval to commence the program via our online store if you:

• are concerned about your health

• are taking medicines or drugs prescribed by a Doctor, or see a doctor for any medical condition which requires regular medical checks

• have been advised by a Doctor or health professional to eat a special diet to treat an illness or medical condition

• presently have an existing medical condition (listed below)

Medical conditions and/or medications where a Doctor’s approval is required before participating in the program:

• Medications that contain mono-amine oxidase inhibitors, lithium, anticoagulants (such as warfarin)

• Cancer treatment

• Medicated Type II Diabetes, where insulin is not part of the therapy

• Heart disease, heart attack or recovery from recent coronary bypass surgery

• Epilepsy

• Major surgery within the last three months

• Gastro intestinal disease

• High cholesterol

• High blood pressure

• Medicated/controlled depression

• Peptic or stomach ulcers

• Bowel disorders

• Coeliac disease

• Concurrent medically prescribed diets for health problems

• Diagnosed food allergies, sensitivities or lactose intolerance

• Chest pain (undiagnosed) or severe shortness of breath

• Malabsorbtion diseases

• Liver or kidney disease

• Medicated arthritis

• Gout

If any of these conditions or medications apply to you, you should get written medical approval from your doctor or health professional before you join the Betty Baxter program at any participating pharmacy. You can find your nearest participating pharmacy using our Store Locator.

The following terms apply for all online orders, purchases and product deliveries:

Online Store Registration

You must register and provide Betty Baxter with required contact details to be able to purchase Betty Baxter products online.

All personal details provided to Betty Baxter as part of the registration process will remain confidential to Betty Baxter and will only be provided to related third parties to facilitate the delivery of your products.

All personal details provided to Betty Baxter will be managed as per our Betty Baxter Privacy Policy.

Online Orders

All prices shown on this site are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD$)

All online orders will incur a minimum standard Postage and Handling fee of $9.95.

You must purchase a minimum of seven (7) Meal Replacements per order – Meal Replacements includes Betty Baxter Shake sachets, Soup sachets and Meal Replacement Bars.

Betty Baxter will not fulfil any orders for less than seven (7) Meal Replacements.

If Betty Baxter receives an order for less than seven (7) Meal Replacements, we will contact you within five (5) working days via the email address you have provided as part of your registration to notify you that your order has not been successfully processed.

Betty Baxter accepts Visa Card and MasterCard credit card payments only. All online payments are processed using a secure SSL encrypted ANZ online purchasing system. Your credit card details will not be saved on our server, and will only be sent in encrypted form

After placing an order and submitting your payment details, Betty Baxter may contact you regarding your weight loss program, via your registered email address.

Deliveries

Betty Baxter will despatch all orders within two (2) to three (3) working days from the date your order is placed with us.

Betty Baxter will not deliver to addresses outside Australia.

Betty Baxter can not deliver online orders to Post Office Box addresses. Rural and remote customers with Post Office Box addresses should contact the Betty Baxter Head Office team on 1300 657 371 to discuss alternative delivery arrangements, if required.

All orders will be delivered via Australia Post. In most instances, Australia Post will be able to deliver your order within five (5) to ten (10) working days from the date your order is placed.

If we have any queries regarding your online order, or if for any reason we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you either via phone or email within two (2) working days of receiving your order to seek clarification.

If you have not received your order within ten (10) working days, please contact the Betty Baxter Head Office team via email info@bettybaxter.com.au or phone 1300 657 371, quoting your order reference number.

Refund Policy

Betty Baxter does not provide refunds or returns on online purchases. This policy does not affect or exclude your consumer Statutory Rights under the Trade Practices Act. For more information on your Statutory Rights, visit http://www.accc.gov.au/content/index.phtml/itemId/322947.
